Our 5-week immersive training program is intense, structured, and performance-based. Students leave prepared to:

  • Operate radiation and contamination detection instrumentation with confidence

  • Apply ALARA principles effectively in live, scenario-based environments

  • Deliver clear, professional pre-job briefs that communicate hazards and prevent events before they happen

  • Support refueling outages immediately

  • Perform effective job coverage, maintaining oversight that protects personnel and plant conditions

Beyond technical skills, we instill professional workplace behavior expected in high-consequence environments. Our graduates are trained to be:

  • On time and prepared

  • Dressed appropriately and ready for the day’s work

  • Drama-free and team-oriented

  • Proactive rather than reactive

  • Willing to do more than what is simply required

We develop technicians who go above and beyond not because they are told to, but because

that is the standard.

Our mission is simple:

To develop exceptional technicians who show up job-ready on day one not just with knowledge, but with hands-on experience, real-world confidence, and the professionalism required to operate in high-consequence environments.

Through immersive simulation, advanced instrumentation, and utility-aligned curriculum, we go beyond classroom theory. We train for real plant conditions, real procedures, and real accountability building nuclear professionals who are prepared to perform at the highest level from their very first assignment

Utility-Focused Training Packages

Event Prevention Through Outage Specific Drills We conduct multi-day, scenario-based readiness drills prior to outage mobilization or during contractor in-processing. These drills are tailored to the site’s upcoming outage work scope and designed to ensure both in-house staff and incoming contractors are fully

prepared.

With many sites onboarding a large volume of RP contractors often unfamiliar with the

facility or its procedures these drills provide a critical opportunity to:

Improve overall efficiency and communication going into the outage. By proactively addressing human performance challenges and qualification gaps before work begins, these drills support event-free execution and help utilities reduce the risk of costly compliance violations or INPO findings.

Standardized Junior RP Qualification

Our accelerated 5-week program is designed to fully qualify Junior Radiation Protection Technicians, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and readiness to contribute from

day one.

This program supports utilities nationwide by:

  • Fast-tracking new hire qualifications,

  • Strengthening internal development pipelines

  • Advancing Decon Technicians into fully qualified in-house RP Techs.

What differentiates us is our hands-on, experience-driven training model. Every session incorporates Sim-Teq responding instruments, preparing your personnel not only to meet qualification standards but to perform confidently and competently in live plant conditions.

Senior RP Qualifications

We offer flexible training options, including hosting students at our facility or conducting on-site sessions, to ensure your technicians complete their NISP qualifications promptly as soon as they meet the required hours accelerating their ability to contribute more effectively to your team.

Our scenario-based drills are designed to equip newly qualified senior technicians with the skills and confidence to uphold the highest standards and maintain event-free performance in the field.
